Dr. Hu is a serial entrepreneur with 15 years research background in software and AI. His team built China's first facial recognition based unmanned store in Shanghai in 2017. He worked with Fortune 50 customers like Lenovo and Tingyi Group before immigrating to Canada via the Startup Visa Program. Dr. Hu is now the CEO of RetailDeep working on a facial recognition platform to help retailers bring personalization to their stores.
