Kobi Wu is the founder and CEO of VisuWall Technologies. VisuWall Technologies is a marketplace innovation that monetizes vacant storefront windows with traditional and programmatic advertising dollars. And using computer vision and mobile proximity technologies, captures impression and engagement metrics, and presents them in an easy to digest analytics dashboard. VisuWall’s successes have included campaigns for Apple Music, Kelloggs, Celine, Burberry, Harry’s, Bumble, Google et al. VisuWall is brand category agnostic and works with private landlords, institutional owners and brokers.
Wu is the former SVP of Strategy and Planning at Combs Enterprises where she was responsible for managing the creative and revenue strategies for Combs Wines & Spirits (CÎROC Vodka, DeLeón Tequila), Blue Flame Agency, Sean John and REVOLT TV. Prior to Combs Enterprises, Wu led strategy and accounts for award winning lifestyle marketing agencies including her own consulting business Lyonshare Communications, Superfly Presents (Bonaroo, Outside Lands) and Cornerstone Agency. Some of the global brands she’s affected through her unique lens of entertainment and planning combined include Spotify, Google, Yahoo!, Converse, Pepsi, JetBlue Airways, Target, Adult Swim/ The Cartoon Network, Sportsnet NY, Levi’s, Smirnoff, Johnnie Walker a host of Diageo brands and seemingly countless others.
As CEO of VisuWall, Wu has been honored as Goldman Sachs 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs for 2017 and 2018. She was the first Place Winner at Black Women Talk Tech Pitch Competition 2018, a graduate scholar of the Goldman Sachs 10k Small Businesses program, participated in XRC Labs, Cohort 6 and was a presenter at TEDx Fulton Street 2018. VisuWall will be featured on Sony TV’s Meet the Drapers in Q1, 2019.
Wu has served on the Board of Trustees at Little Red School House & Elizabeth Irwin High School and is an been an adjunct professor for the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at Tisch School of the Arts, NYU since 2009.
Wu has a B.A. Architecture from University of California at Berkeley, M.S. Construction Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
