Michael Martin

VP Digital Products, Nike

Michael is responsible for all Nike consumer digital products (sites, apps and wearables) as well as direct retail services and experiences at Nike stores worldwide.  He leads the digital studios in Shanghai, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam and New York (S23NYC).

Prior to joining Nike, Michael was most recently the Senior Vice President, Product & Technology for NBC Entertainment Digital. While at NBC, Michael was responsible for digital products, technology, operations and project management. The product, technical and design work he led for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon won a 2014 Webby award for Entertainment App and Television Website and the 2014 SocialTV App of the Year.

Before NBC, Michael was the Vice President, Technology Strategy & Planning at Disney ABC Television Group where he pioneered the live television streaming for WATCH ABC, Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior and ABC Family consumer digital products. He also held increasingly senior roles at The Walt Disney Company.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and remains an avid Trojans football fan. Additionally, he lectures each semester on technology strategy at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
