Chief Marketing Officer, Overstock
As Overstock.com’s Chief Marketing Officer, JP Knab is responsible for the company's digital and traditional marketing strategies and implementation.
Knab started at Overstock in 2005 in analytics and quickly proceeded to be named the director of analytics, where he built out the pricing, forecasting, and merchandising analytics groups, resulting in his promotion to director of merchandising. After leading his categories to over 100% revenue growth, he joined the marketing team as vice president in 2012. In this role, he led the company's search, email, affiliate, direct mail, content, online promotional, site offer, and page optimization marketing strategies.
During this time, Overstock embarked on one of the most consistent revenue and net income growth periods in its history and created 17 profitable quarters of growth in the last six years. In 2016, Knab was named senior vice president of the marketing department before being appointed Chief Marketing Officer in 2018.
Prior to joining Overstock.com, Knab worked at contacts.com where he led their CRM efforts. He has 17 years of experience in e-commerce and he received both his undergraduate degree and MBA from Brigham Young University.
