Using our internal and proprietary ML toolkit, RubiOne, we embed machine learning into production grade decision management solutions that solve immediate business problems for retailers. Our ML engineers developed RubiOne, allowing for shipment of algorithms that are client-agnostic on a stack that is cloud-agnostic, giving our clients an out of box experience with our products. RubiOne is the ML component that feeds into our two core products, Customer LifeCycle Manager and Promotion Manager.
Customer LifeCycle Manager (CLCM) applies machine learning to predict customer intention and behavior through intelligent decision automation. Our solution yields deep understanding of offer and communication effectiveness to deliver the most appropriate 1:1 personalized content, with relevant and timely offers, through the most optimal channel for each customer to maximize customer engagement that delivers growth. CLCM uses AI to automate customer-centric decisions through marketing channels for retailers by focusing on generating incremental revenue.
Promotion Manager applies machine learning to reduce the complexities of the promotion planning process to yield more accurate forecasting and automate decision-making. As the market changes, our solution continuously improves decisions for retailers to increase promotional effectiveness that drives incremental customer engagement. Promotion Manager automates the current mass promotions and merchandising process, which is the most expensive business process in retail, to deliver: a) the optimal mix of promotion mechanics; b) a clear understanding of promotional effectiveness; c) more accurate forecasts that reduce stock-outs and increase revenue; and d) stronger customer experiences.
Delivering on the promise of “intelligent decision automation,” these two solutions integrate their machine learning powered decisions back into the retailer’s operational systems.
A big-data architecture system is integral to running the aforementioned products. RubiCore, a cloud-agnostic enterprise big data platform, gathers retailer data from both legacy and new online and offline systems to a single data platform in the public cloud with a proprietary retail data model. Users can access the same data in real-time and connect their own applications. This data is then used to help retailers make tangible actions that grow their loyalty revenue, promotion forecast accuracy, and merchandising profitability.
The Rubikloud platform enables automated Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) data integration with legacy retail applications and data warehouses. This automated integration into a cloud-native environment allows us to instantly deploy AI applications that impact a retailer’s bottom line. By deploying our two core products, Promotion Manager or Customer LifeCycle Manager, retailers will see material uplifts to promotional revenue, inventory stock out rates, and loyalty revenue. The Rubikloud platform delivers automated instructions to execution layers such as the retailer’s ERP, supply chain system, marketing automation tools, and in-store experiences. Rubikloud currently works with the world’s largest retailers, who have collective revenue of over $100b in annual sales.
Our products help large retailers generate substantial revenue. One of the world’s largest perfume and cosmetic retailers reported 111 million Euros in total sales, with 12 million Euros in incremental sales attributed to Rubikloud. They also saw 12 percent of their low loyalty customers migrate to high loyalty with machine learning-generated promotions, versus 0.4 percent with traditional promotions for the same time frame.
